Farragut Hydro Jetting
A blocked or clogged up drain can be a major headache, and if normal remediation techniques such as snaking are not having the desired effect, it is time to switch to a more powerful method of unblocking the drain. When you are looking for a better way to unblock your drains, Farragut hydro jetting is the quickest and most efficient method you can use. Sending a high pressure jet of water down a drain can really make quick work of all kinds of blockages, where traditional clearing methods have had little to no effect.
How Hydro Jetting Works
Farragut hydro jetting is so effective because it makes use of a powerful stream of water, which has the capacity to shift large amounts of waste material, grime and grease. Sewer pipes are often prone to becoming clogged with all kinds of material, and the Farragut hydro jetting process can make quick work of shifting these unwanted items, allowing your drains to flow much quicker.
Typically, the rate of the flow of water is around the 18 gallons per minute mark, and that water is pressurized to 3,500 psi, and it is this amount of water being sent out at such a high pressure that helps to shift the most stubborn of blockages.
In order to be much more effective than snaking or other drain clearing techniques, the Farragut hydro jetting process involves sending water in the opposite direction to the normal flow. It is standard for a sewer pipe to be angled downwards in order to allow gravity to help the waste material along. However, when a blockage occurs, in order to shift it successfully, sending a stream of water in the opposite direction is the most efficient way to clear the blockage, and allow the water to begin flowing downhill again.
Additional Benefits to Hydro Jetting
In addition to clearing the types of blockages caused by excess grease and dirt build-up, Farragut Hydro Jetting can also be beneficial in other ways too. It is possible for mineral deposits to accumulate in a sewer pipe, or for tree roots to encroach in to the system, and it is only hydro jetting that can successfully shift these stubborn blockages.
Should tree roots find their way in to your outlet pipes, it is advisable to have the sewer system checked for serious damage, as root incursion is often an early indication of a much bigger problem.
